Online Registration in response to the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) Notification in respect of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2024 through Civil Services (Prelim) Examination 2024 are commenced from 12th Feb 2024 and close on 03rd March 2024 through the official website. Submission of the Online Application Forms close on 03rd March 2024.
UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Notification 2024
The Union Public Service Commission has released the schedule for Civil Services (Preliminary) 2024 Exam, Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2024 through Civil Services (Prelim) Examination 2024, to shortlist the Candidates for Union Public Service Commission Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2024 through CS (P) Examination 2024 followed by Separate Main Written Examinations in the Conventional Format for Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 and Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2024. Online registration process is likely to close on 03rd March 2024. Online Registration Procsss are started from 12th of February 2024. The UPSC has scheduled to be held the Civil Service Examination on 31st May 2024.

UPSC CSP-IAS Online Application Form 2024
The Union Public Service Commission are invited the online application forms for Civil Service Preliminary Examination from 12/02/2024 to 03/03/2024.
The Preliminary Examination necessitating securance of Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks 33% for the Candidates to be considered for the Main Written Examination shall not be added to the Final Merit List drawn up based on the Aggregate Marks secured by them both in Main Written Test and Personal Interview / Personality Test.
Final Selection to different Departments in Civil Services shall be strictly in order of Merit secured by the Candidates IN AGGREGATE both in the Main Written Examination and Personality Test and Verification of Documents.
Community-wise Common Merit List / Final Merit List comprising the Candidates for the Union Public Service Commission advertised / notified Posts shall be drawn up by taken IN AGGREGATE MARKS in Stage I + Stage II Plus Stage III.
UPSC IAS Admission Letters / Admission Certificates Issuance: 2024
The Union Public Service Commission shall release the e-Hall Tickets / Admission Letters to the Eligible Candidates shall be issued e-Admit Cards Three (03) Weeks before commencement of the said Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2024 through Civil Services (Prelim) Examination 2024. The e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets would be made available on the Union Public Service Commission’s Website for downloading by the candidates. The Commission would not mail / dispatch via Post any e-Admittance Cards will be sent by Post. All the Applicants should necessarily submit valid & active e-mail Ids. while filling up their respective Online Application Forms as the Commission may use the Electronic Mode for contacting them, especially at the time of mailing e-Summon Letters / Call Letters for Personality Test / Personal Interview.
The Union Public Service Commission shall take up Verification of Eligibility Conditions with reference to Original Documents only after the candidate has qualified for Personal Interview / Personality Test.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit (As On 01.08.2024):
Any Candidate belonging to General Community should have attained Minimum 21 Years but must not exceed 32 Years of Age. Relaxation in Upper Age Limits to all other Reserved Category Candidates.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with, at least, one of the Subjects; viz., Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central Legislature or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an Equivalent Qualification.
Note I:
The Candidates who have appeared at an Examination the passing of which would render them Educationally Qualified for the Union Public Service Commission’s Examination but have not been informed of the Results as also the Candidates who intend to appear in such a Qualifying Examination will also be Eligible for Admission into the Preliminary Examination. All Candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for taking the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination will be required to produce proof of passing the requisite Examination with their respective Application for the Main Examination failing which such candidates will not be admitted for the Indian Forest Service Main Examination. The Applications for the Main Examination will be called Online Mode before prior to commencement of the Main Examination 2024.
